Safety and Security of the Communities Throughout Fayette County
Since 1850 when Fayette County’s first sheriff George W. Neff was sworn in, it has been our privilege to serve the citizens of Fayette County. Today, our officers and support staff are responsible protecting and serving nearly 20,000 people within the county’s 700 square miles, managing operations at the Fayette County Jail, and being a visible presence in our communities and schools. Marty Fisher has served as Fayette County Sheriff since 2000. He leads a group of deputies, correction officers, communications teams, and support staff. We're happy you’re here, and we’re proud to serve you.
